Through my formative years, there was one thing in my life that was a constant, and that was to help others. I started my journey to achieve this by obtaining my Emergency Medical Technician certificate in 2015. I provided emergency medical services in central Connecticut for 7 years, and in 2022 I obtained my paramedic license. It was at this point in my life I wanted to get a new set of skills in a more rural setting allowing me to spend more time with patients and follow through with their outcomes. I took the plunge and moved to southern Vermont where I now continue to expand my knowledge as a Lieutenant Paramedic.
In the midst of my career in EMS, I was shown the world of mobile phlebotomy through a family friend, and I never looked back. I obtained my Certified Phlebotomy Technician and started working through her company gaining experience in this field. Oddly enough, this was familial to my job in EMS, being invited into people's home and providing them with quality care.
